Unfortunately on arrival (well after the check in time as we spent the afternoon in Scarborough with our two small children)... read more the house had not been cleaned following the previous guests. This was rectified immediately after I alerted the host however it wasn’t a great start with having a 3 year old and 9month old that we couldn’t get bathed and to bed due the property being cleaned in the evening. That being said, mistakes are made and the important thing was that it was put right and the house was cleaned to a good standard.
We both thought that the property is actually bigger and more spacious than the photos show with plenty of storage.
A couple of upgrades needed in the kitchen such as the kettle leaks and we couldn’t find a plug for the kitchen sink or a washing up bowl so had to use a mixing bowl. However all the essentials are there.
The location is great for families as it’s a quiet street but still close to all attractions.

The location is perfect for north and South Bay amenities. I would definitely recommend as a place to stay and will definitely stay here again when going to the East Coast.
